The School Day - years 1 - 6
The school day starts at 8.40am and finishes at 3.10pm for children in Years 1 - 6. Registration is from 8.40am to 9.00am where the children will undertake 'Morning Learning/Responding to marking.'
Morning playtimes
All children in KS1 have a morning playtime at 10.30am,
KS 2 children have a playtime at 10:20am, which lasts for 15 minutes. Children in Reception have a separate playground to children in Y1-Y6.
Lunch
Our children in KS1 have their lunch at 12:00 - 12:45pm. Children in KS2 have their lunch at 12:15 – 1:00 pm. Children eat their lunch at staggered times and play outside in their respective zones for the rest of the time.
Afternoon playtimes
An afternoon playtime can be taken in Key Stage 1 at the discretion of staff.
The school day - Reception
The school day starts at 8.30am and finishes at 3.00pm for children in Reception. Registration is from 8.30am to 8.45am where the children will undertake 'Morning Learning.'
Lunch
Our children in Reception have their lunch at 11:45 - 12:30pm. Children eat their lunch in the hall and play outside in their own area for the rest of the time.
Afternoon playtimes
An afternoon playtime can be taken in Reception at the discretion of staff.
Total weekly figure for the compulsory time pupils spend in school - 32.5 hours
