WELCOME!
Year 5 is an exciting and pivotal stage in a child's learning journey. In this year, children are encouraged to develop greater independence, critical thinking, and leadership skills. The curriculum covers a wide range of subjects, with a focus on deepening knowledge and understanding. The pupils also take on more responsibility within the school community, helping to prepare them for the transition to upper primary. Year 5 fosters creativity, curiosity, and confidence in a supportive and engaging environment.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
During Autumn term, Year 5 will have PE on a Tuesday. They will be attending swimming sessions where pupils will focus on developing essential water safety skills and improving their swimming techniques. Please ensure you child brings in their swimming kit on this day and comes into school wearing their school uniform.
